[ China Instrument Network Instrument R&D ] Recently, the Shanxi Provincial People's Government announced the Shanxi Provincial People's Government's decision on the 2017 Shanxi Science and Technology Award (Jin Zheng Fa [2019] No. 5), Shanxi Science and Technology Department under the responsibility of the Shanxi Metrology Institute. The scientific and technological research project “Application Research on Calibration Method of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Online Monitoring Equipment†won the third prize of Shanxi Science and Technology Progress Award.
The project is based on the national metrology and calibration specifications, combined with the actual use of COD online monitor type, working conditions and the factory inspection standards of COD online monitor manufacturers, the research on the application of COD online monitoring equipment calibration method. By applying the glucose purity standard substance as the measurement standard, the traceability of the low-range COD online monitor is realized, and the advanced and operability of the calibration method are tested in multiple fields to form a relatively systematic and standardized technical standard.
The project results have been widely used as the local metrology technical specifications in Shanxi Province, and the full coverage of the on-site calibration of the COD online monitor has been realized, which is conducive to the improvement of national metrological technical specifications and provides effective technical support for the legal management of the service environment monitoring field. It has broad prospects for promotion and application and has reached the domestic leading level.
