The meeting pointed out that in the previous stage, the planning plans for the development of the Fuzhou yacht industry, the rectification of the revetment of the Beijiang River and the Port of the Minjiang River, the landscape improvement of the rectification of the Hangang River North Port waterway, and the preliminary planning of the yacht terminal have achieved phase results, and will promote the next phase of the Lancang River. Development and utilization will play an important role.

The meeting emphasized that we should further optimize and demonstrate the layout planning of yacht manufacturing industry (industrial parks), and strive to gradually build our city into one of the important yacht tourism, berthing and exhibition bases in China through a number of years of hard work, so as to comprehensively enhance the scale of Lijiang River tourism. In accordance with the principle of “reserve and abandon”, we should appropriately implement the rectification and reconstruction of the revetment of the Beijiang River in the Minjiang River, in order to achieve convergence with the urban development plan and the planning of the marina, as well as the transformation of the old housing estate along the coast, the reconstruction of the riverside road, and the Lancang River. Water level upgrading and transformation are linked.

We must increase efforts to attract investment, accelerate the introduction of a number of high-grade and technologically advanced yacht manufacturing and management companies, and promote the leap-forward development of the yacht industry in our city. We must step up efforts to formulate various related supporting preferential policies involving the promotion of the yacht industry, dock construction, and tourism development, and encourage the accelerated development of yacht manufacturing, tourism, and exhibition industry in our city.

The meeting requested relevant departments at all levels to seriously plan the promotion of the development of the yacht industry, revetment of the Oujiang Beigang and the rectification of the waterway, and the construction of the yacht quay, so as to ensure that the rebranding of the Minjiang “business card” achieved initial results within one year and improved significantly within two years.
