Development of testing instruments for domestic marine in-service oil and gas pipelines


The project “Development of In-vehicle Testing Instruments for Marine In-service Oil and Gas Pipeline Based on Electromagnetic Holography Collaboration” successfully passed the national major scientific research instrument development project. The successful development of the project will break the current situation that China's oil and gas pipeline monitoring market is monopolized by developed countries such as Europe and the United States.  

Recently, the Research and Development Center of Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute has a good news in the field of pipeline intelligent detection. First of all, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2016), a national major scientific research project jointly developed with Northeastern University and CNOOC Energy Development Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully approved for the development of an instrument for the detection of marine in-service oil and gas pipelines based on electromagnetic holography. The institute is responsible for the sub-topic "Development of Sensor Package Design and Trace Positioning Subsystem". Secondly, it signed a contract for the first phase of the "813 Pipeline Pre-deformation Calibrator" commissioned by PetroChina Pipeline Company Shenyang Longchang Pipeline Testing Center. During the period, several key issues have been resolved. At present, the specific details of the second phase of the contract are being discussed. The accumulated funds allocated to the state and the commissioned research and development funds of the enterprise amounted to nearly 1.2 million yuan.

Oil and gas pipeline transportation is called the “energy bloodline” of the country and plays a vital role in the national economy. In recent years, China's pipeline oil (gas) mileage has shown a rapid growth trend, from 58,300 kilometers in 2008 to 90,100 kilometers at the end of 2012, reaching 116,300 kilometers at the end of 2015, has been built "Northwest, Northeast The four major oil and gas strategic channels in the southwest and the sea, and the three vertical and four horizontal pipeline corridors first saw the scale. In order to ensure the safety of the ecological environment and energy transportation, pipeline inspection is an internationally recognized effective means to ensure the safe operation of pipelines. However, to date, China's oil and gas pipeline monitoring market has been monopolized by developed countries such as Europe and the United States. In this process, in addition to being charged a high service fee (about 3 million yuan / 100 kilometers), it is more important that state secret information such as pipeline operation and geographic coordinates will be completely leaked, posing a potential for China's national defense security. Threat.

Faced with the huge development space in the field of pipeline intelligent detection, the Research and Development Center of Shenyang Instrument Science Research Institute has been continually attacking, actively seeking suitable market breakthroughs, and trying to use the cooperation between enterprises to obtain funds for project research and development. After the unremitting efforts of all the staff of the R&D center, we finally signed a contract with the China Petroleum Pipeline Company Shenyang Longchang Pipeline Testing Center for the “Intelligent Deformation Caliper before the 813 Pipeline Production”. While carrying out research on the intelligent internal detection technology of terrestrial oil and gas pipelines, the R&D center will also focus on the intelligent internal detection technology of marine in-service oil and gas pipelines, and the National Natural Science Fund countries jointly declared with Northeastern University and CNOOC Energy Development Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. The major scientific research instrument development project was successfully approved. This is the first time that the institute has been funded by a national-level major scientific research instrument development project, and it is also a major opportunity to get involved in the intelligent internal testing of marine oil and gas pipelines. The project of cooperation with CNOOC and CNPC, two major state-owned enterprises, will become a golden key to the hospital's entry into the core area of ​​pipeline intelligence testing.

In 2016, the R&D Center focused on the strategic emerging industries and the key areas promoted by “Made in China 2025”. In combination with the actual situation, the R&D direction was adjusted in a timely manner, focusing on “Intelligent Non-destructive Internal Detection Technology and Equipment for Oil and Gas Pipeline” and “High Precision Laser”.
