High-speed bearing oil and gas lubrication with obvious effects

Bearings are widely used components in mechanical equipment. They are roughly classified into plain bearings and rolling bearings. Their main function is to support shaft parts. The electric spindle bearings are mostly rolling bearings. In the process of use, proper lubrication is required to make full use of them.

The heat generated by the electric spindle bearing will affect the machining accuracy and processing efficiency. The electric spindle uses a built-in motor and the heat dissipation effect is poor. This requires a dedicated cooling channel to dissipate heat. The heat comes from two aspects: the built-in motor rotates and the bearing friction heats up. The use of oil and gas lubrication can eliminate the effects of these two problems. Oil and gas lubrication is a gas-liquid two-phase flow. On the one hand, compressed air can take away the heat of the built-in motor and the friction of the bearing friction: on the other hand, the lubricating oil is delivered to the lubrication point to provide uniform lubrication.

The viscosity of the lubricating oil also affects the temperature: under the condition of the same speed, the increase of the viscosity of the lubricating oil will increase the bearing temperature. Lubricating oils with different viscosities have different changes in bearing temperature. The high temperature rise will be greater than the low viscosity, and the temperature rise will become more and more obvious as the spindle speed increases. In actual use, the oil consumption of the bearing oil and gas lubrication is very small, and it is only necessary to supply the amount of oil actually required for the bearing operation.
