After nearly 21 hours of treatment observation, Zhang Lili is currently conscious and able to breathe spontaneously and her vital signs are stable. However, the expert group believes that the condition of the orthopaedic part is still complex and there are still possibilities of repeated or multiple surgery. Zhang Lili’s teacher is not yet out of danger.

On the 22nd, Zhang Lili was on the 14th day after the injury and on the 1st day after the second operation. Due to primary chest trauma, mechanical ventilation, and two anesthetic surgeries, Zhang Lili's next phase of treatment will pay special attention to the problem of lung infection.

Zhao Mingyan, director of the ICU intensive care unit at Harbin Medical University, received an interview with the reporter after the conference. She said that Zhang Lili had undergone surgery on both legs in the 21st and returned to the ICU intensive care unit. After the surgery, the expert group believed that Zhang Lili’s orthopaedic situation was complicated. This was the main reason that caused her not to be out of danger. At the same time, the problem of lung infection began to appear.

She also told reporters that Zhang Lili’s psychological counseling is also the focus of work, except for the issues of orthopaedics and lung infections, but Zhang Lili’s mood is good now. Although she feels intermittent pain, she is still very much in tune with the treatment of medical staff. When asked if Zhang Lili is now able to eat, Zhao Mingyan answered the reporter: “This depends on the condition of the abdomen. Only when it is stable can it be eaten.”
