According to statistics from the China Automobile Association, the sales and sales in the auto market in July declined slightly compared with June, but it was better than the same period of last year. In July, the production and sales of automobiles were 1.4371 million vehicles and 1.37.94 million vehicles, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 10% and 8.2% respectively. From January to July, the national automobile production and sales reached 10.9687 million vehicles and 10.9794 million vehicles, which was a year-on-year increase of 4.8% and 3.6% respectively, and the growth rate was 0.8 and 0.6 percentage points higher than that in January and June respectively, showing a trend of increasing month by month. .

Judging from the production and sales figures of automobile manufacturers, the domestic auto market is slowly picking up. Dong Yang, Secretary-General of China Automobile Association, believes that the association remains cautiously optimistic about the auto market this year. The auto market growth rate of 5% to 8% this year is expected to remain unchanged.

The economic indicators of key enterprises also reflect this more optimistic situation. According to statistics from the China Automobile Association, statistics on major economic indicators of key automakers (groups) of the automobile industry from January to June, total industrial output value and operating income of 17 key enterprises (groups) increased by 7.7% and 5.8% respectively over the same period of the previous year, and total profits and taxes realized. The year-on-year increase was 14.7%.

However, from the terminal market, the auto dealers still feel that the inventory pressure is high, and the auto market price has fought one after another. More dealers publicly stated that they were already overwhelmed and hoped that the relevant association organizations would concentrate on reflecting the predicament of the entire vehicle company and ease market pressure.

According to the inventory figures of China Automotive Industry Association, the inventory of auto companies increased in July, and the total number of inventory from January to July reached 736,300, which was an increase of 47,700 from January to June. "Increase in corporate stocks indicates that inventory pressure in the sales segment has slowed down." Dong Yang told reporters that at present the company's inventory is at a normal and reasonable level, and most auto companies accurately grasp the inventory situation of dealers. Both sides are more like a game.

For the independent brand manufacturers, the overall anxiety masked all kinds of differences. The market share of self-owned brand cars in July has already dropped back to the level of September 2008, which is similar to the situation facing the financial crisis.

The market share of self-owned branded passenger vehicles continued to decline. From January to July, the number of self-owned brand passenger vehicles sold was 3.5643 million, which was only a year-on-year increase of 1.2%, and the market share decreased by 2.6 percentage points year-on-year.
