KOYO bearing disassembly should pay attention to matters:

1. The assembly site should be kept as clean as possible without dust.

2. To avoid contamination of the KOYO bearings with dust, contaminants and moisture - contaminants have a detrimental effect on the operation and service life of KOYO bearings.

3. Check the bearing seat bore and the mating surface on the shaft: geometric and dimensional accuracy and cleanliness.

4. Apply a little oil or grease to the mating surface of the bearing ring.

5. Make sure that there is a 10 to 15 degree lead chamfer in the shaft and housing bore.

6. Do not excessively cool the bearing: The moisture generated by the condensation can cause the bearing and the bearing mating surface to rust.

7. After installation: Fill the bearing with lubricant and check that the bearing configuration is working properly.

Disassembly guide:

The disassembly problem should be taken into consideration when designing the bearing installation part of KOYO. If the bearing is fitted with an interference fit, the groove for disassembly should be provided on the shaft or in the bearing housing hole to facilitate the removal of the ferrule. If the disassembled bearing is to be reused:

1. Avoid directly hitting the bearing rings,

2. The disassembly force should not be transmitted through the body.

3. KOYO bearing should be carefully cleaned once it is disassembled and it cannot use "violent" flame.
