Zimbabwe Hartely Nickel Mine

Description: Hartely Nickel Project is an associated ore to platinum-based mining, situated 100 kilometers west of Harare, Zimbabwe. In 1995 nickel production, mineral processing plant set up in October 1996, but due to the small amount of ore production conditions of instability, failed to design capacity requirements, and then forced to close. It still hasn't started yet. In 1999, BHP, the major shareholder, sold 67% of the mine to Zimbabwe Platinum Mining.

Capacity and output: The designed annual production capacity is 5,000 tons of nickel concentrate, and the annual output is about 5,000 tons (metal amount).

Shareholders: At present, Zimbabwe Platinum Mining Company is the sole shareholder of the mine, accounting for 100% of the shares.
