Developed a new linear motor with neodymium magnet

Japan Pulse Motor Corporation has developed a new type of motor (LINEARSTEP&reg) in its US branch. This new type of motor has an outer diameter of 25mm to 35mm and can be used for linear motion. The linear motion motor can simplify the user system, and the cost is much lower than that of the conventional rotary stepping motor. The drive circuit is the same as the latter.

Thanks to the spherical housing and the robust motor housing, the new motor is durable and has a long service life. It also uses special threads and rare earth neodymium-containing magnet rotors to provide high efficiency and high driving force.

Linear motors can be used in medical instrument pumps, semiconductor wafer handling machinery, optical camera systems, and communication antenna devices.
