The Tonghua Municipal Defense Office has informed the city's traffic police detachment to dispatch police to set up warning signs at dangerous sections such as overpasses to divert road traffic. All evacuation of reservoirs and residents downstream of the dam was completed.

According to the analysis by Tonghua Meteorological Observatory, the heavy rainfall cloud cluster is being generated and strengthened. On the night of the 31st, concentrated rainfall will be mainly in Tonghua County, the urban area, and Ji'an City south of the Liuhe River.
