Harmful gases that endanger the human body such as formaldehyde, secondhand smoke, and infectious disease viruses in the interior decoration materials will be promptly discharged. At the same time, whether it is spring, summer or autumn, the fresh air entering the room will be regulated to a temperature close to that of the interior, and the body feels comfortable.

In the past, due to the use of natural methods such as door opening and ventilation, the ventilation was not only unsatisfactory, but also consumed a lot of energy. In the summer, the air-conditioning energy consumption will be greatly increased, and heating will be increased in the winter. The person in charge of the project said that the heat recovery efficiency of this system can reach 90%, so it will basically not increase energy consumption.

According to calculations, due to the adoption of a heat recovery system, the exhibition center can save nearly 570,000 kilowatt hours of energy each year, equivalent to saving 122 tons of standard coal.

Water drawn from the ground makes people feel cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Water source heat pump system uses groundwater as the "source" of hot and cold. That is, through the water source heat pump unit, the heat in the building is “taken out” in the summer and released into the water body. Since the water source has a low temperature, the heat can be efficiently removed to achieve the purpose of cooling the interior of the building in summer; , "extract" heat energy from the water source and send it to buildings for heating.

In the lawn on the south side of the exhibition center, there are five deep-water wells, which are the outlet and return wells of the water source heat pump system. The groundwater collected from here enters the water-source heat pump room located in the basement and returns to the backwater well after heat exchange. “The entire process, the groundwater is basically no loss. This way through a small amount of electricity, it completely replaced the boiler or municipal pipe network and other traditional heating methods and central air-conditioning systems, not to the outside world to release any gas such as Freon.” Xu Yun said.

In addition, this water-source heat pump system can not only cool and heat, but also use the residual heat of groundwater to heat domestic water in the winter to supply the kitchen and toilet.

According to calculations, this water-source heat pump system can extract 1.76 million KWH of heat from groundwater each year, equivalent to 378 tons of standard coal.
