The Beijing International Fair signed over 50 billion yuan in express delivery

On May 30, the 2014 China Express Industry (International) Development Conference was held in Beijing. As one of the important contents of the 3rd China (Beijing) International Service Trade Fair (referred to as the Beijing Fair), this conference held the theme speech and summit dialogue on the theme of “integrity service, integration development and sharing of the future”. The China Express Service signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a contract value of over 50 billion yuan, 2.5 times that of the previous session.

The contracted projects of the express delivery industry involve strategic cooperation between China Express Express and air transport, e-commerce and other industry associations and some auto manufacturers. Express delivery companies will conduct cross-industry cooperation with various parties such as aviation, e-commerce, and new energy vehicles. They will also conduct in-depth cooperation in air cargo agent transportation of dangerous goods, safety training, and special express vehicle research. The major brand express companies also reached further cooperation consensus with China UnionPay and Cainiao Network for further in-depth integration.

Chinese express delivery companies further expand the pace of going out. According to statistics, by the year of 2013, 371 Chinese companies had obtained international express delivery business licenses. At the meeting, STO signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Russia's Hummer Express.

Ma Junsheng, director of the State Post Bureau, and Cheng Hong, vice mayor of Beijing attended the signing ceremony. Liu Jun, deputy director of the State Post Bureau, addressed the opening ceremony of the conference and Gao Hongfeng, president of the China Express Delivery Association, made a closing speech.
