Since the launch of the Tieshan Shanhe No. 1 shield machine on March 15, 2017, it has overcome the underpass of the Guitang River Bridge, the Tianjiling Tunnel, the Wanjiali Viaduct, and the gas station oil depots due to its good geological adaptability and stability. The Tieshan Shanhe No.5 shield tunnelling machine to Chengdu also digs in to 186 meters, and will also need to change station immediately. Another Tieshan Shanhe No. 6 shield machine sent to Chengdu will leave the factory after the year.
