Development and Reform Commission decided to increase subsidies to promote efficient motor

In order to speed up the application of domestic high-efficiency motors, the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly held a meeting on the 19th and decided to promote high-efficiency motors by increasing financial subsidies.

It is reported that in 2011 the national promotion task for high-efficiency motors was 31.77 million kilowatts, which accounted for about 30% of the country's total domestic motor sales, including 20 million kilowatts of low-voltage high-efficiency motors, 10 million kilowatts of high-voltage high-efficiency motors, and 1.77 million kilowatts of rare earth permanent magnet motors. . The above promotion tasks were undertaken by 50 motor production companies such as Xiangtan Motor, Wolong Electric, and Nanyang Explosion Proof.

In order to ensure the completion of the promotion task, the above two departments decided to increase the financial subsidy for high-efficiency motors. The meeting determined that users who purchased low-voltage high-efficiency motors will receive 58 yuan and 31 yuan per kilowatt according to the power level, and 26 yuan per kilowatt for users who purchase high-voltage high-efficiency motors. For those who purchase rare earth permanent magnet motors, 100 yuan per kilowatt subsidy. After comparing the previous subsidy rules, the reporter found that the new subsidy standard has been greatly improved. Take high-voltage high-efficiency motors as an example, the subsidy standard has increased by 117%.

At the same time, the two departments also decided to strictly evaluate the system, the new project must all use high-efficiency motors and other energy-saving equipment and products. To promote energy-saving reform, the central government adopts a subsidy-based compensation method to encourage the implementation of energy-saving technological transformation, contract energy management and other projects, promote the use of high-efficiency motors, and increase the development of high-efficiency energy-saving motor technology and industrialization demonstration.

It is of great significance to promote efficient motors. The meeting pointed out that China has a large amount of electric motors and low energy efficiency levels. High-efficiency motors represent the direction of industrial development and have huge market space and potential for saving electricity. The data shows that the total capacity of China's motor system is about 700 million kilowatts, but the proportion of high-efficiency motors is still less than 3%.

The meeting made it clear that we must speed up the promotion and application of high-efficiency motors, strive to realize the application of domestic high-efficiency motors, drive the electrical industry to become bigger and stronger, and promote the structural adjustment and upgrade of the equipment manufacturing industry. At the same time, we must vigorously nurture the goals of the “12th Five-Year Plan” for energy saving and emission reduction.
