(1) Some of the 2006-2008 Tianzhu vehicles produced by Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. from April 2, 2007 to April 18, 2008, totaling 37,722 vehicles;
(2) Some of the Paladin cars produced by Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. from April 1, 2007 to December 31, 2008, totaling 16,652 vehicles;
(3) Some imported Qijun vehicles imported by Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. from April 2, 2007 to November 13, 2007, totaling 339 vehicles.
The reason for the expansion of this recall is that some vehicles may be damaged due to the supplier's airbag when the passenger's seat airbag is deployed, causing the debris to fly out, which may damage the inside of the vehicle and pose a safety hazard. Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. and Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the passenger seat airbag gas generators for vehicles within the scope of the recall.
