The use of oil tanker fuel injection pump

Tanker fuel injection pumps have been rigorously commissioned before leaving the factory. Sealed parts cannot be arbitrarily changed. If adjustments are required during use, they must be carried out by a professional on the test bench. Couples must not be arbitrarily changed so as not to affect the performance of the diesel engine. If the diesel engine is not working properly, or if the time of fuel injection and the amount of fuel injected are abnormal, maintenance and adjustment shall be carried out by professionals on the test bench.

Fuel injector pump disassembly precautions:
During use, if you need to disassemble the fuel injection pump, be careful not to disassemble the fuel injection pump bracket, otherwise it will cause the injection pump and the air compressor to be misaligned and cause damage to the steel plate of the connection plate.
When disassembling, in order to ensure that the refueling advance angle does not change after reloading, mark the advancer.
If only the injection pump is to be disassembled, the two bolts securing the connecting plate should be loosened so that the advance angle does not change during installation.
Try not to disassemble the bolts that connect the couplings on the steel plate, because the couplings are easily damaged when reinstalled.

When the tanker fuel injection pump is installed on the engine again, special attention should be paid to the timing adjustment: that is, the alignment of the markings on the advancer's outer circle (this is the fuel supply starting point of the first cylinder of the fuel injection pump). If there is any error, the two bolts on the flange of the connecting plate should be loosened to adjust the advanced angle, that is, align the reticle on the steel plate with the line on the flange, and finally tighten the bolt. If only the fuel pump is disassembled, first align the bolt on the flywheel with 10±1° ahead of the indicator on the flywheel housing, or align the index of the torsional vibration damper with the pointer on the body and confirm the first cylinder of the engine. The piston is in the compression process (that is, the intake and exhaust valves are closed at the same time), and then the alignment line on the outer circle of the advancer is aligned with the mark on the pump body to install the coupling.
Pay attention not to change the mark position when installing the coupling on the tank truck.
If the air compressor is disassembled while disassembling the fuel injection pump, the timing marks on the flywheel are to be aligned and the first piston of the engine is determined to be at the top dead point in the compression process. At the same time, the screw plug should also be unscrewed so that the inside of the flywheel housing The timing indicator is aligned with the marking on the transmission gear of the fuel injection pump, and then the air compressor is installed. Finally, the injection pump is installed according to the preceding requirements.
After assembly, ensure that the injection pump is concentric with the air compressor, and its misalignment is not more than 0.3mm.
